Close to the GR652 Pilgrimage Route

Larroque Haute Gîtes is ideally located near the GR652, one of the recognised routes of the Camino de Santiago as it passes through the Lot Valley. This long-distance trail links the historic village of Rocamadour to Cahors, following quiet paths, woodland tracks and rolling countryside.

For those walking or cycling sections of the GR652, our gîtes offer a peaceful and comfortable base nearby. Whether you are undertaking part of the pilgrimage or simply wish to experience a stretch of this historic route, the surrounding area provides easy access to join the trail.

The GR652 is known for its varied scenery, from limestone plateaux and shaded valleys to open viewpoints across the Lot countryside. Walkers can enjoy a sense of space and tranquillity, with routes that feel far removed from busier tourist areas.

🥾 Moderate Walks (1–2 hours)

• The Château Trail: A circular route via Sérignac and back through vineyard paths and forest tracks. Includes quiet rural roads and sweeping Lot Valley views.
• Sunset Ridge Walk: Best done in the evening – follow the ridge line for golden light and panoramic skies.

• The Puy-l’Évêque River Walk: A 12km round walk through woodland, vineyards, and down to the Lot River.
